OSHA Outreach – 10-Hour & 30-Hour Programs

General Industry – 10 Hours
Designed for personnel from all types of industries, this program presents general information on how the provisions of the OSH Act may be implemented in the workplace. This class is focused on emphasizing hazard identification, avoidance, and control. The course includes an introduction to OSHA’s general industry standards and an overview of the requirements of the more frequently referenced standards. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive an official completion card issued by Federal OSHA.

 

General Industry – 30 Hours
This is a comprehensive occupational safety and health compliance course reviewing federal regulations for general Industry. This course is designed for managers and supervisors from all industries who are responsible for the overall safety of their employees in the workplace. Detailed information on how the provisions of the OSH Act are to be implemented in the workplace is presented. Rights and responsibilities under the OSH Act, the OSHA inspection process, and recordkeeping requirements are covered. The course also includes an introduction to OSHA’s general industry standards and an overview of the requirements of the more frequently referenced standards. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive an official completion card issued by Federal OSHA.

 

Construction – 10 Hours
This program covers many of the hazards associated with maintaining a safe construction site and the overall prevention of worker injury. This class focuses on emphasizing hazard identification, avoidance, and control. Using OSHA standards as a guide, special emphasis is placed on becoming knowledgeable about the most hazardous areas of this industry. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive an official completion card issued by Federal OSHA.

 

Construction – 30 Hours
