Osha Voluntary Protection Program

The VPP Programs are designed to recognize and promote effective safety and health management. Benefits of being a VPP worksite are:

  • Improved employee motivation to work safely, leading to better quality and productivity.
  • Reduced worker's compensation costs.
  • Recognition in the community
  • Improvement of programs that are already good, through the internal and external review that is part of the VPP application process.
  • VPP participant sites generally experience from 60 to 80 percent fewer lost workday injuries that would be expected of an "average" site of the same size in their industries.
  • VPP sites are exempt from OSHA's program inspections.

Advanced Safety & Health's role is to mentor and prepare sites for the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) in states that are under Federal OSHA or other state plans. Contact us today for more details about our services and this very unique program.
